Seamless asphalt repairs using infrared heating, with no visible joins or patches.
Asphalt infrared heating is a technique used to repair road damage, among other applications. The infrared process uses an infrared heater to warm the damaged asphalt to a malleable state, then new asphalt is added and the two combine seamlessly.

A conventional cut and patch repair leaves a saw cut joint around its whole perimeter, and joints are exactly where water gets in and patches fail. Infrared repairs thermally bond new asphalt into the existing surface, so the finished repair has no joints at all.
Because the existing asphalt is reheated and reused, infrared repairs generate minimal waste, need less new material, and are completed quickly with the road reopened the same day.
